Hey\:There

• 1 / √5

= 1 / √5 × √5 / √5

= √5 / 5
_____________________________

• ( √3 + √2 ) / ( √3 – √2 )

= ( √3 + √2 ) / ( √3 – √2 ) × ( √3 + √2 ) / ( √3 + √2 )

= ( √3 + √2 )² / [ ( √3 )² – (√2 )² ]

= ( 3 + 2 + 2√6 ) / ( 3 – 2 )

= 5 + 2√6
______________________________

• 1 / ( √2 + 1 )

= 1 / ( √2 + 1 ) × ( √2 – 1 ) / ( √2 – 1 )

= ( √2 – 1 ) / [ (√2 )² – ( 1 )² ]

= ( √2 – 1 ) / ( 2 – 1 )

= √2 – 1
