Here is ur answer mate:-

  • to rationalize a number, we just have to multiply both numerator and denominator with the opposite sign of denominator, i.e

√5+√3

5+3. 5+3

----------- × -----------

5-3 5+3

5 - 3

--------

5 - 3

----- = 1

2

Hence, rationalising the given irrational, we got 2/2 = 1
