= ( √3 + 1 ) / ( √ 3 – 1 ) × ( √3 + 1 ) / ( √3 + 1 )
= ( √3 + 1 )² / [ (√3)² – (1)² ]
= ( 4 + 2√3 ) / ( 3 – 1 )
= ( 4 + 2√3 ) / 2
= 2 ( 2 + √3 ) / 2
= ( 2 + √3 )
