Rationalise the dinominator and simplify:- 2/√5+√3​

Answer:

  • multiply numerator and denominator by _/5 - _/3.
  • you get the denominator as _/5² - _/3² because a+b × a-b gives a² - b².
  • when roots are squared, root gets removed and in the denominator you get 2 and the numerator you get 2( _/5 - _/3)
  • 2 from numerator and denominator gets canceled and you get the above answer.
