(3-√5)/(1+√5)
Multiplying both the numerator and the denominator with (1-√5), we get
(3-√5)(1-√5)/(1+√5)(1-√5)
(8-6√5)/1-5
(8-6√5)/(-4)
(3√5-4)/2

=3-root5/(1+root5)
=(3-root5)×(1-root5)/-4
=3-3root5-root5+5/-4
=-4root5+8/-4
=-4 (root5-2)/-4
=(root5-2)/1
therefore answer is (root5-2)
