(√5+√2)
= (√5+√2) ( √5-√2)
= (√5)² - (√2)²
= 5-2
=3

multiply by conjugate rt(5)-rt(2)

( \sqrt{5} + \sqrt{2} )( \sqrt{5} - \sqrt{2} )<br /> = { { \sqrt{5} }^{2} - { \sqrt{2} }^{2} <br />= 5 - 2<br /> = 3 }
