Break the number into prime factors

1176 = 2×2×2×3×7×7
√1176 = √(2×2×2×3×7×7) 
           =2×7√6
           =14√6

qais: first rationalize the value of x.. you will get root2 - 1

First of all take out the factors of 1176....... 1176 = 2×2×2×3×7×7...... Now group the factors which have occurred twice and keep the rest under root ....... 1176 = 2×7√ 3×2 = 14√6...
