Rationalise the following:- (7+3√5) l÷ (3+√5)​

Rationalizing factor of (3+√5)​ is (3-√5)​

By multiplying both numerator and denominator by (3-√5) we get , [(7+3√5)×(3-√5)] ÷ [(3+√5)​×(3-√5) ]

=[21-7√5+9√5-15] ÷ [9-5]

=[21-15-7√5+9√5 ] ÷ [4]

=[6+2√5] ÷ 4

=[2(3+√5)] ÷ 4

= (3+√5) ÷ 2

= (3+√5)/2

Ans : When we rationalise (7+3√5)÷(3+√5) we get (3+√5)/2
