hey there..! here's your answer

to rationalize the denominator in this question we have to first multiply (2 - √2) in numerator and denominator

1 ( 2-√2)/[(2+√2)(2-√2)]

2-√2/[2]² - [√2]²

= 2-√2/ 4- 2

= 2-√2/2

2/2 - √2/2

= 1 - √2/2-----(answer)
