Hey mate!!!

Here's ur answer....

To rationalize the denominator of a fraction we will multiply it by by the number in denominator but after changing sign.

 \frac{1}{2 +  \sqrt{5} }  \times  \frac{2  -  \sqrt{5} }{2 -  \sqrt{5} }  \\  \\  \frac{2 -  \sqrt{5} }{ {(2)}^{2}  -  {( \sqrt{5} )}^{2} }  \\  \\  \frac{2  -  \sqrt{5} }{4 - 5}  \\  \\  \frac{2 -  \sqrt{5} }{ - 1}  \\  \\  - 2 +  \sqrt{5}

Hence the denominator is rationalised...
