 \frac{1}{ \sqrt{8} + \sqrt{4} } \\ \\ On \: rationalizing : \: \\ \\ = > \frac{1}{ \sqrt{8} + \sqrt{4} } \times \frac{ \sqrt{8} - \sqrt{4} }{ \sqrt{8} - \sqrt{4} } \\ \\ = > \frac{ \sqrt{8} - \sqrt{4} }{( { \sqrt{8}) }^{2} - ( { \sqrt{4} )}^{2} } \\ \\ = > \frac{2 \sqrt{2} - 2}{8 - 4} \\ \\ = > \frac{2( \sqrt{2} - 1) }{4} \\ \\ = > \frac{ \sqrt{2} - 1}{2}
