Answer:

(3 + √7) / 2

Explanation:

Given,

1/(3-√7)

In order to rationalise it, we must multiply both Numerator and Denominator with (3+√7).

On multiplying we get,

1/(3-√7) × (3+√7) /(3+√7) =

= { 1(3+√7) } / (3-√7)(3+√7)

We know that,

(a+b)(a-b) = a^2 - b^2

Then,

= (3+√7) / (3^2) - (√7^2)

= (3+√7) / 9 - 7

= (3 + √7) / 2

Hence, the required answer = (3+√7) / 2
