Solution :

 \frac{( \sqrt{3} + 1) }{ \sqrt{2} }  \\  \\  =   \frac{( \sqrt{3} + 1) \sqrt{2}  }{ \sqrt{2} \times  \sqrt{2}  }  \\  \\  =   \frac{ \sqrt{6}  +  \sqrt{2} }{2}
