Rationalize the denominator of 3 minus root 2 by 3 + root 2

3 - √2/3 + √2

= 3 - √2 (3 - √2)/3 + √2 (3 - √2)

= (3)^2 - (√2)^2/(3)^2 - (√2)^2

= 9 - 2*3*√2 + 2/9 - 2

= 11 - 6√2/7
