Q) 1/√5 + √2
Sol. :->
1/√5 + √2
=> 1 x (√5 - √2) / (√5 + √2)(√5 - √2)
=> (√5 - √2) / (√5)² - (√2)²
[ By identity :- (a+b)(a-b) = a² - b² ]
=> ( √5 - √2 ) / 5 - 2
=> ( √5 - √2 ) / 3
Now according to question , We have to subtract it from √5 - √2 ,
So ,
√5 - √2 - (√5 - √2) /3
=> { 3 ( √5 - √2 ) - (√5 - √2 ) } / 3
=> { (√5 - √2)(3 - 1) } / 3
=> { ( √5 - √2)(2) } / 3
=> (√5 - √2)(2)/3
This is it ,
Hope it helped you...
