Let the amount with Rafiq be x

ratna has ₹200 more than 3 times the Rafiq

:- amount with 3x + 200

if the 300 rupee from ratna is given to Rafiq than the amount with Ratna is 7/4

:-now Rafiq has rupee x + 300

:-and ratna now has rupee

=3x + 200 - 300

= 3x -100

so now equation is

(3x - 100) / (x + 300) = 7/4

= 4 ( 3x -100 ) = 7 ( x + 300 )

= 12x - 400 = 7x + 2100

= 12x -7x = 2100 + 400(like term taken one side)

= 5x = 2500

x= 2500/5

x = 500

amount with Rafiq is ₹500.
