We know that Ravi Invested 500

And the time period for that would be t months

And the investment made by Rashmi is 200

and the time period in which Rashmi made the investment is 12 months.

150(t) : 200(12)

150t : 2400

3t : 48

t : 16

Ratio of profit = Ratio of Investment

1:2 = t:16

1/2 = t/16

t = 8

So the answer to this question is Option C: 8
