Ravi ate in a restaurant and got a membership discount of 30% on the original bill amount but he had to pay 10% as service tax and 8% service charge on the discounted bill amount. If Ravi paid Rs 4,743 which included a tip of Rs 200, how much money did he give as service charge?

Let amount = 100
Amount aft dis = 70
Service tax = 70*10/100 = 7
Service charge = 8*70/100 = 5.6
Total = 70+7+5.6 = 82.6
Ravi paid = 4743 -200 = 4543
Now 82.6 = 4543
Then 5.6 = 4543*5.6 / 82.6 = 308

hence , D is right
