Solution :

• To find sweets left with Ravi after consumption we subtract total consumption from total amount .
• Therefore,  $\frac{31}{4} - \frac{23}{6}$
• We find LCM To equalize denominators.
• LCM = $12$  
• On solving we get ,

                 $\frac{31}{4} - \frac{23}{6}$  $= \frac{93}{12} - \frac{46}{12}$

                             $= \frac{47}{12}$

Hence , Ravi was left with $\frac{47}{12} \ kg$  sweets.
