Given :

  • Total Money with Ravi = Rs 900
  • Money spent on short = Rs 1.5
  • Money spent on pair of Hawai Chappal = Rs 1.5
  • He divide the rest of the money into 3 equal parts.

To Find :

  • Money in one part.

Solution :

In this question, Firstly we will find the total money spent on short and pair of hawai chappal. For that we will add the money of short and pair of hawai chappal after that we will subtract that from total money with Ravi. After that we will divide the rest of the money into three parts [as given in the question].

Total Money Spent by Ravi :

  • Money of Short + Money of Chappal
  • Rs ( 1.5 + 1.5 )
  • Rs 3

Money Left with Ravi :

  • Total Money - Total Money Spent
  • Rs ( 900 - 3 )
  • Rs 897

Making the Money into 3 equal parts :

  • Let each equal part be x
  • 1st part + 2nd part + 3rd part = Left over money
  • 3x = 897
  • x = 897/3
  • x = Rs 299

Therefore :

  • Each equal part contains Rs 299
