➤ Given :-

Total chocolates :- 40

Chocolates given to friends :-5/8

To find :-

Number of chocolates left with him

➤ Solution :-

 \longmapsto \bf \:40 - \frac{5}{8} \\

 \bf \longmapsto \frac{40}{1} - \frac{5}{8} \\

LCM of 1 and 8 is 8.

  \bf = \frac{40}{1} \times \frac{8}{8} - \frac{5}{8} \\

 \bf \: = \frac{320}{8} - \frac{5}{8} \\

 \bf \: = \frac{315}{8} \\

\therefore \bf \frac{315}{8} \\ part of chocolates are left with him.
