The sum of money left in the jar is Rs. 22.5.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let's solve the given problem:

We know,

\boxed{\bold{1 \:rupees = 100 \:paise}} or \boxed{\bold{1\:paise = \frac{1}{100}\:rupees }}

So,

50 paise = \frac{50}{100} = Rs. \:0.50

25 paise = \frac{25}{100} = Rs. \:0.25

10 paise = \frac{10}{100} = Rs. \:0.10

The number of 50 paise coins Ravi has = 30

The number of 25 paise coins Ravi has = 50

The number of 10 paise coins Ravi has = 50

Therefore,

The total sum of money Ravi has in the jar is,

= [30 \times Rs. 0.50] + [50 \times Rs. 0.25] + [50 \times Rs.\:0.10]

= Rs. \:15 + Rs. \:12.5+ Rs.\:5

= Rs. \:32.50

The sum of money spent on buying chocolates = Rs. 10

Now,

The sum of money left with him in the jar is,

= [Total money] - [Money spent on chocolates]

= Rs.\:32.50 - Rs.\:10

= \bold{Rs. \:22.50}

Thus, the sum of money left with Ravi in his jar is Rs. 22.50.
