We have,
A sound made by Ravi reaches to Ramu in 4 secs and Raju in 6 seconds.
Have to find the distance between Ravi and Raju.
So in normal temperature i.e. 20℃ or 68°F the speed of sound is = 343 m/secs (approximately)
So distance between them = (time taken to reach sound to Raju × speed of sound)
= 6 × 343 m
= 2058m
= 2 km 58m
