Given:- Chem books = 480

Phy books = 192 Maths books= 672

To find:- minimum number of stacks

Solution:- To find the minimum number of stacks we have the following data:-

Chem books = 480

Phy books = 192 Maths books= 672

Now, In order for minimum stacks Books in each stack must be maximum . So, we need to find the HCF of 480 , 192 and 672 .

Therefore using the hcf concept we say that:-

→ 480 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 5

→ 192 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3

→ 672 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 7

Therefore the hcf is given as:-

2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 = 96

Now,

Minimum number of stacks of all the books are the total number of books Ravish has divided by the maximum number of stack.

i.e

=(480 + 192 + 672)/96

=14

Hence,

Minimum number of stacks of all the books are 14.
