Ravi saw a person whose clothes were caught fire due to faulty wiring in his car. He quickly ran towards the person with a blanket and extinguishing the fire by wrapping the person in the blanket.Then he calls the emergency service to take the person to the near by hospital.
a) How does the blanket help to extinguish the fire ?
b) Write any other two ways to extinguish fire.

blanket putts off wire as it cuts the oxygen supply and you can putt off fire by using sand or mud you should not run when your caught with fire as it enhances oxygen supply that inturn initiate burning he is well equipped and knowledgeable

a) the blanket is used to extinguish the fire .
we know that the fire increases according to the oxygen if the oxygen is presented at the fire the person will burn and can die... for avoiding the passage of oxygen the blanket is covered throughout the body of the person ... the thick blanket does not allow any gases in and can stop the fire


b)call to the fire engine , use fire extinguisher , production of more carbon-dioxide
