Ravi thought of a number,doubled it and added 20 to it.On dividing the resulting number by 25 , he gets 4. What is the number??

He doubles this no.
2x=2×40=80

Added 20

80+20=100

Divide by 25 to get 4

100/25=4

So the no. is 40

2y+20/25=4
2y+20=4×25=100
2y=100-20=80
y=80÷2=40

so ans is 40
