Answer:

  • 105m² is the area the cow can graze.
  • 66.5m² is the area left ungrazed

Given :

  • Length is 15m
  • Breadth is 7m

To find :

  • What is the area of the cow can graze
  • Is the area left ungrazed?

Solution :

As we know that,

  • Area = length × breadth

Where,

  • length is 15m
  • breadth is 7m

》Area = length × breadth

》15 × 7

》105 m²

Hence, 105m² is the area the cow can graze.

Now , we have to find the what is the area left ungrazed then,

  • 1/4 × πr²

We know that 1/4 circle can be covered when the cow is tied so , it will be rectangle of the corner

》1/4 × πr²

Where , r is 7m

》1/4 × 22/7 × 7²

》1/4 × 22/7 × 7 × 7

》1/4 × 154

》38.5m²

Now,

  • 105 - 38.5 = 66.5m²

Hence, 66.5m² is the area left ungrazed

  • 105m² is the area the cow can graze.
  • 66.5m² is the area left ungrazed
