Ravi went to his cotton field.There he observed some of the cotton leaves were affected by insects.He also observed that weeds in between are not affected.Give reasons

The reasons why the weed were not affected is because some of the weeds are poisonous and if the destructors feed on them they will die. Some of the weed's leaves have bad smell that keeps the destructors away from them.
