Given : Rate of interest = 15 %

Time period = 4 years

Principal = ?

Interest = ₹ 1200

p = SI × 100 / R × T

=1200 × 100 / 15 × 4 = 120000 / 60 = 2000

So , the pricipal is ₹ 2000.

hope it help...
