Ravish owns a plot of rectangular shpe. He has fenced it with a wire of length 750m. The length of the exceeds the breadth by 5m. Find the length and breadth of the plot.

Let length be x+5
perimeter= 750
p= 2(l+b)
750= 2(x+5+x)
2x+5=375
2x= 370
x=185
Length = 190m
Breadth = 185m

therefore according to question
breath=x+5
and perimeter is given =750m=2(length+breath)
2(x+5+x)=750 ,= 2x+10 +2x =750
4x=750-10
4x=740
x=185 ,,,therefore length =185 and breath=185+5= 190
