Raw vegetables & fruits are kept in refrigerators whereas jams & pickles are kept outside.why?

= Vegetables and fruits are kept in refrigerator because if we put them outside they develop some bad smell in them, some spots etc. So, to protect them from developing bad smell, taste, spots etc. we put them in refrigerator.

= On the other hand jams and pickles are not kept in refrigerator because they contain preservatives in them. Preservatives like salt, sugar etc. which protects them from getting spoiled.

Raw vegetables and fruits are kept in refrigerators beacuse, the chance that if the spoiling of these vegetables and fruits is very much. Especially, when their is quite hot temperature in surrounding.

Jams and pickles actually have pre added preservative like oil which cut its supply from oxygen and thus, prevents thier spoiling.
