let 1 book be 'x'

hence raymond has 120x books to read.

he is planning to keep 24 books i.e. 24x unread

hence 120x -24x =96x.

raymond will read 3 books per week

hence 96x รท 3x = 32

hence Raymond will take 32 weeks to read the books and still leave 24 books unread.
