The Reserve Bank of India cancelled the license of Bhilwara Mahila Urban Cooperative Bank for financial irregularities and not having enough capital and growth prospects.

The RBI directed the bank to close its business from 31st August 2018 and directed the bank to ensure the refund of the depositors’ money through a transparent process.
