1, 3 and 5 sentences are example of simple present tense.

We use the simple present tense when an action is happening right now, or when it happens regularly or in routine. e. g. sun rises in east. or I go for a walk daily.

in all simple present sentences we use only root form of verb except third person singular ( he, she, it) where we add s or es with the root verb.

in the 2 & 4 sentences we used simple past tense as the actions have already taken place and we used 2nd form of verb.
