"(b) Anti-diuretic hormone (ADH)

Reason:

ADH or Vasopressin is the hormone released by posterior pituitary that affects the permeability of DCT and the collecting duct. Large amount of water in the urine cause condition called dieresis.

The main function of ADH is to counteract the over water collection in the urine.

It acts by absorbing the water and thus makes the urine hypertonic. The regulation of water by ADH is best example of homeostatic feedback mechanism."
