Slowly add water to this.

Explanation:

When water is added to calcium oxide or Quick Lime. Then, enormous amount of heat is produced causing the Temperature to rise. This is because reaction of CaO with water is a exothermic reaction.

when we added a calcium oxide in a beaker and add water slowly in beaker then calcium oxide produce heat because increase the temperature when add water in the beaker due to exothermic reaction
