Reaction between citric acid and carbonic acid produce poison

the formula is H2CO3+C6H8O7

There is no reaction between carbonic acid and citric acid.

These two weak acids have similar dissociation constants in water.

A low Ka indicates a relatively small number of acid molecules will form an anion stabilized by water. Two weak acids with similar dissociation constants will coexist in a solution without interacting.

If two weak acids have very different Ka then there can be a reaction.

In this case nothing would happen.

No, it's not poisonous.

This is due to the fact that there is no reaction between citric acid and carbonic acid. Citric acid and carbonic acid have similar pka values. If the two acids have similar pKa values, they did not produce any product.

One can lower the pH of the solution by increasing the concentration of hydrogen ions.

Among the two acids, one of the acids must have the lowest pKa value. Otherwise, they did not involve in the reaction. Therefore, no reaction between Citric acid and carbonic acid happens.
