It is an acid -base neutralization reaction between a strong acid and a strong base.

The products will be salt and water. The salt formed here is sodium sulphate.

2NaOH + H2SO4 = Na2SO4 + 2H2O.

If there is insufficient amount of NaOH, sodium bisulphate will also be formed.

NaOH + H2SO4 = NaHSO4 +H2O.

The reaction is highly exothermic as enormous amount of heat is liberated.
