When water reacts with chlorine gas , it will form HCl and HClO in presence of sunlight . HClO is unstable and decomposes into HCl and oxygen gas. Chlorine water decomposes into oxygen and hypochlorous acid that's the reaction which occurs in the presence of Sunlight.Hope you like my answer ❤️
