Reaction of copper with dilute sulphuric acid

Copper has higher reduction potential (more positive) than hydrogen, and it does not react with HCl acid. ... So it is not possible for copper to displace hydrogen from sulphuric acid to form copper sulphate and hydrogen gas. So copper will not react with dilute sulphuric acid.
