When Acid and bases reacts they form salt and Water only , this process is called Neutralisation.

The reaction between an acid and a base is known as neutralization . Salt and water are produced in this process with the evolution of heat .

GENERAL EQUITION

Acid + base gives salt + water

Hydrochloric acid HCL + Sodium Hydroxide NaOH gives sodium chloride NaCL + water H2O
