Method:Take 10 g of zinc granules in a conical flask.

Slowly add dilute hydrochloric acid to it.Kexplain on stirring with a glass rod till the reaction completes itself.Now,if you touch the conical flask containing zinc granules and hydrochloric acid,it is found to be warm. In other words, reaction between zinc and hydrochloric Acid is an exothermic reaction.
