Zn + 2KOH + 2H2O → K2[Zn(OH)4] + H2

Zinc react with potassium hydroxide and water to produce potassium tetrahydroxozincate(II) and hydrogen.

reaction with balance --

manav86: bro i had a confusion as we know potassium is above in meta reactivity series so zinc don't displace potassium then no reaction occur
