'Pride and Prejudice' is my favourite novel.
I have read it more than five times and keep rereading it whenever possible.
The main attraction of the story book is the character of Darcy.
Darcy is my favorite character. His nature, his looks, his immense love and respect for Elizabeth attracts me most.
Darcy is a perfect gentleman. He is the epitome of a good human being.
It is because of him that the wicked and villainous Wickham was finally trapped and forced to marry Lydia, Elizabeth’s foolish younger sister.
From Darcy we learn how to be determined and keep our promises. His character earns our respect. His selfless love and philanthropy make us overlook his pride.
Darcy is not only a book character for me, he is the character I idolise. He is my favorite character.
