Harry Potter and the Cursed child

The book begins at King's Cross Station, with Harry's and Hermione’s respective children—Albus Potter and Rose Granger-Weasley—going off to Hogwarts for the first time. Albus is afraid he will break the family tradition and be sorted into Slytherin rather than Gryffindor. On the Hogwarts Express, Albus makes friends with Scorpius Malfoy, the son of Draco Malfoy. Scorpius is sorted into Slytherin, then in a complete surprise Albus Potter is sorted into Slytherin. Rose is sorted into Gryffindor and becomes popular as Albus shows no particular magical aptitude, thus widening the distance between her and her cousin Albus. Scorpius and Albus are friends, but rumors about Scorpius's birth cause him to be an outcast.

Draco Malfoy is tormented by rumors that Voldemort used a Time-Turner to impregnate his wife Astoria to give birth to Scorpius. He asks Harry Potter for a statement that all Time-Turners have all been destroyed. Harry is then visited by Amos Diggory and his niece Delphi, who each want Harry to go back in time to the Triwizard tournament and save his son, Cedric, since he was an innocent victim of Lord Voldemort.

Over a holiday, Harry arrives to give Albus a present: his own baby blanket. The gesture feels empty; Albus and Harry argue about Albus’s difficulties at school and Harry says he sometimes wishes Albus wasn’t his son. Albus leaves to go back to Hogwarts and Harry’s scar begins to hurt for the first time in nineteen years.

Harry Potter is a boy who was born from two loving parents, Lily and James Potter. Harry, like his parents, is a wizard. When Harry was one year old, his parents were killed by a dark (evil) wizard named Lord Voldemort, leaving him with a scar in the shape of a lightning bolt. Voldemort had heard a prophecy that his greatest enemy would be a child that had the same exact description as Harry. It is later revealed that the prophecy also could have been Neville Longbottom. Voldemort fails to kill Harry and disappears. After the deaths of his parents, he was raised by his non-magical Aunt Petunia (muggle), Uncle Vernon, and cousin (Dudley) and they didn't treat him well. As a child, he did not know he was a wizard. He eventually discovers that there are many magical people, living secretly and hiding from non-wizards (known as "Muggles"). When Harry turned eleven on July 31st, he received a letter inviting him to go to a schoolcalled Hogwarts for young witches and wizards. Each book tells the story of one year of his life at the school. On the Hogwarts Express, the train they use to get to Hogwarts, he meets Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, his two best friends, along with many other characters. Voldemort tries several times to return, before finally succeeding in the fourth book. The series ends with Harry defeating Voldemort.

There are eight books. A series of eight movies based on the novels has been made by Warner Bros. They started making the movies in 2001. The first one was released on November 16th 2001. The second, third, fourth, and fifth were released respectively in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2007. The sixth movie, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, was released on July 7, 2009. The final movie was divided into two parts. The first part, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, was released in late November, 2010. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 was released in July, 2011.
