Read about the current state of affairs in our country. Do you think India is one of the most secular countries of the world, as its founders wanted it to be? If yes, then how ? If no, then how can it be so? Write your views as a letter addressed to Mahatma Gandhi, The Father of the Nation.

A letter addressed to Mahatma Gandhi, The Father of the Nation.

Explanation:-

Dear Bapu,

I am writing this letter to say how you have awakened a hint of inspiration in me. I respect you so much. I'm writing this letter the as to discuss my views on India as a secular country of the world.

No, India is not a secular country in the world. In a completely secular country, every resident, irrespective of belief, will be protected by a set of constitutions. Still, the civilization of various religions in India is coated by several laws. Over time Hindus, Sikhs & Buddhists have been encircled by various acts.

Various laws for different religions, government custody of temples but not mosques or churches, various laws for minority schools & majority schools, various constitutions for political parties & media.

Yours affectionately
