I think what i found most intruiging in the egyptiian civilisation is that the timeline of the events.

the most of the developments happened at such a time that cannt even be imagined. for example the formation of a republic(combined state), pyramids and the concept of life after death.

the civilisation lasted for more than 3 thousand years and lived very prospourously. it also survived many invasions and rule. but after cleopatra's rule it finally ended.

at its peak time, it was one of the most advanced and richest civilisation of the  ancient world.
