Alexander the great was the king of Macedonia. The ruler of Takshshila( now in Pakistan) helped him. Porus had 30,000 soldiers and Alexander had 1,20,000 soldiers. Porus fought bravely but lost. He was brought before Alexander as a captive. He asked Porus which. type of treatment he wanted. Porus said" Like one king treats another." Alexander was surprised by his valour. He was astonished because Porus was a captive and then also he gave such answer.
