1. flattering friends are not true friends because they always compliment us and by saying some sweet words for us, they want to take advantage it. take an example, if someone says that you're the kindest. means she/he wants you to help her/him always and you have to forgive her/him always no matter how many times she/he will do anything bad to you. that's why, flattering friends are not true friends. true friends are those who always speak the truth and if you're wrong, they'll say and will advise you. whereas friends who always praise you aren't true friends. they just want to be good in front of you.
2. according to the poem, faithful friends are hard to find. means they'll be with you always and will give you advise. if you're going to a wrong path, they'll stop you. he'll help you in any need. if you sorrow, he'll weep.. if you wake, he can't sleep. but in today's world, most of our friends are fake. they are flattering friends and really faithful friends are hard to find.. always remember that "ONE FAITHFUL FRIEND IS BETTER THAN THOUSAND FLATTERING FRIENDS".
