Read chapter 18 from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and then choose a scenario before writing dialogues between the characters.

Choose one of the following scenarios and write dialogues:

1) You are Tom and still on the island with Joe and Huck. You are planning to make fool out of the townspeople. Devise a plan using dialogues.
2) You are Becky. You miss Tom. You are regretting everything that you did to Tom. Your friends are there to listen to your sorrows.
3) You are a classmate of Tom and Joe. You are at their funeral and you are conversing with other friends about how they were great people and how it is a loss for the village that they are dead.
4) You are Aunt Polly and you see Huck feeling neglected. You urge everybody to embrace Huck and Tom interrupts.
5) You are Huck and you see how Tom is cold-hearted. You go and confront Huck and get into an argument with him.
